We have camping or RVing for over 30 years and over the last three years we have had full-time RVers. During this time we listened to almost all classes of RV on the market. One thing we learned quickly, there is no best type, at least not for someone else decide for you.
All campers have advantages and disadvantages. Whatever you choose always, is very much a personal choice of your individual preferences, needs and budget. What have we learned and now share with you isIn our view, what kind of RV is best for certain types of camping.
Tent
Although it is not an RV camping is great fun especially if you have kids. There is something special tents and campfire with the kids and we had a lot of fun with our blinds. You can use a tent good for almost any sporting goods store and buy many department stores.
Of course, you need to cook something. We found the best camping stove propane LPG. Because hostThings like pots, forks, etc. We found it better to have a plastic bin (ours was wood) to keep as "Chuck Box." In your box of food, to keep all your stuff camping so when you go camping just go to Chuck Box and in the car and tent.
Pop Ups and Hi-Lo Type
When the children were small we were probably more fun in our pop up every other campers. They are well equipped and, unlike a tent, sleeping off the ground. They are very easy to carry and store. If they are established, arevery spacious and a very good choice for family camping. They come in all types, screen, pages and pages tough, snap together or as the type of Hi Lo.
Travel Trailers
Travel Trailers in various sizes. They are the cheapest in the "hard side" mobile homes. Most are spacious and well equipped. However, this requires a towing vehicle which is a disadvantage if you do not have a trailer to the desired size. Travel trailers with a special hook to the camper and towing vehicle for the causesshare the load. This eliminates the failure of the rear tractor. In our opinion, trailers are ideal for summer holidays and weekends, but generally are not equipped for the cold season. Therefore, they are not normally used for winter or full time RVing. Most models have slide out walls to increase living space.
5 Wheels
5 The wheels are so called because of the type of wheel mounted on the tractor with no problems. The hook is a shortened version of a commercial platform truck. You also need a towing vehicle and is usually a good size boot-up. Because of the way in which a fifth wheel trailer for the failure of the vehicle, are easier to tow and agile. They are very spacious and are full-time employees who sometimes camp used during the cold season. We travel in a 5th Wheel and spent the winter in Nebraska and Connecticut, both states asked for his cold. However, not every 5 Four sets of wheels for camping season. If you plan to use the camper to be used in cold weather, please readyour dealer. The fifth-wheels slip off the walls to increase living space. Options include fireplaces, washer and dryer connection and may include other luxury items.
The problem with 5 wheels of the towing vehicle. It can be almost as well at least a ¾ ton or larger pickup carrying counting. Factors, such as a large vehicle towing RV and RV is the weight pin and the overall weight trucks.
In my opinion, the 5th Wheel is the best you can zip around theto buy.
Camper
Trucks also available in many sizes, from vans to 45ft monster. They are of two types, Class A and Class C. Class A is a bus type and class C has a truck in front. These are divided into two types, gas and diesel engines.
Campers are ideal for the road, as passengers can travel to a rest area and provides a simple pit stop. Campers are easier to set than other recreational vehicles. Most have self-leveling hydraulic cylinder so that when you pull into a RV park, you press aButton and everything is destroyed. No area under the wheels and no disconnection from the towing vehicle. Since most campers come to the field generators and storage tanks are large, have more confidence than other types of RV.
Often the question arises, what is the best gas or diesel. Only you can answer, but if you have a diesel engine can also add thousands to the price. They are powerful and seem to always work, but you will have to decide if it's worth the extra costit.
Campers are well equipped and the higher price segment are truly luxurious. The price of these devices is not for the faint of heart, and often cost more than a house.
Campers will need a large vehicle that is used when the RV can be parked at the RV park. There are several ways to tow the vehicle trailer hitch for trailers. Towing the vehicle is a science in itself and probably a chat room to ask the dealer.
Find any type of RVDealers and RV shows and watch the different types and sizes of devices. After a while, 'you will begin to develop a preference for a specific type of RV.
Another thing you may consider is to buy a used or less expensive equipment with the intention to do for your business dream RV after a year or two. After having lived the life for a while 'to get a better feel for the type of RV that need it most.
In short, what is best - Our opinion only
Tent - Backpacking and weekendsCamping Pop Up - weekends and holidays Travel Trailer - Weekends and Holidays 5th Wheel - weekends, holidays and full time Motorhome - weekends, holidays and full time
